We offered government a path forward through binding arbitration for class size and complexity—and they refused almost immediately. We are hoping they reconsider before Sunday, as further sanctions could include cancellation of many important extracurricular events.

@NatBanting Oh, I see your point of the thought experiment. I have to wonder if the "point" of learning math is to prepare for life, then why is math education designed to lead to Calculus?
