A3: By continually asking myself how I feel throughout the day, I can gauge where my stressors are coming from and come up with a way to relax and calm down. For example, if I had a rough day at work, I may grade my papers at home as opposed to staying after so I could
A2: I’m apprehensive about pretty much everything, but I think a lot of it lies in how my coworkers will see me, and whether or not I can leave an intrinsically positive impact on my students. #miched
A5: It’s important to collaborate because everybody’s position fits together like a puzzle piece in the field of education. With open communication and dialogue between, students have a higher quality education. #miched
A4: We have unrealistic expectations for students. If we continue to focus on these unrealistic expectations, we will miss out on efficient, quality education that is scaffolded to meet students’ needs and will produce far better results. #miched
A2: Legislators need to INCLUDE teachers in their policies! Far too often policies are implemented that have no factual evidence supporting it. By just listening to teachers and their perspectives, a lot of contempt and grief could be avoided in the future. #miched

A1: We absolutely need to leave teacher evaluations based on students’ testing scores in the past. Students and teachers are worth more than their scores and performances on state mandated testing. #miched
A6: I think that incorporating both is a great idea! I think that bringing in old things to combine with new things actually can enhance a lesson. #miched
A5: In planning, I can use only what the new materials give me but sometimes I know I need more. I can bring in old things but then I feel I'm not giving the new stuff a "chance". Finding that balance is key for me. #miched
A4. What matters most for me is my future, my future students, and maintaining relationships with those who matter most. I need to be the best me now so, I can be the best me in the future. Success will be happiness in my future classroom.
