LEARN TO BE CONFIDENTIAL!

One piece of wisdom you need to have to go very far in life is not to be a parrot in your relationship with people. Let confidentiality be your stronghold, and you will then be able to move with important people. It will help you to become a high flyer.

Poor people with a poor mentality talk too much. Educated illiterates do the same. Have you ever said something that you wish you had not said in a moment of anger, frustration, immaturity, or when your mouth was itching, and you wish you had never said it?

I worked in Nigeria from 1986 to 1990 for a company, and I was very close to the owner, who had a strong connection to the military. He used to take some staff with him whilst visiting senior military officials and his friends. The next morning, everyone would know because those guys wouldn't keep their mouths shut.

As young as I was, he decided to take me with him, and that was the last time anyone knew what my boss was up to. They were not all pleasant experiences, but I kept his secret secret. He made me the project manager over 200 staff, and I was the youngest.

I took that nature to the UK, where I joined a church and became very close to my pastors, especially my spiritual father, Prophet Timothy Obadare. Again, over the 15 years I served there, no one accused me of disclosing information I was entrusted with or made privy to.

I took that quality into the legal profession and my pastoral duties. I know too much about people’s lives because they voluntarily told me, and the secrets will go with me to the grave. If you don’t disclose it, your secrets are safe with me. My wife will say, “My husband will not talk”.

Friends, people should be able to trust you with their secrets: Health, marital, financial, career, and spiritual matters. Stop talking like a parrot and do not disclose information about people without their permission.

Do not disclose details of your relationship with people the moment you are angry or there is a fallout. You are a baby and immature.

To rise, you need to be trusted, and this applies to every facet of life. You need important people in your life, and it is not easy to rise alone. Most of the people you are talking to cannot help you. It is usually a circle of low-life people. Zip your mouth and grow up.

Once the trust is gone, people will avoid you, and you will shut the doors of favor and help against yourself. You will destroy powerful relationships that can become your ladder to success. Resist the urge to spill it all. Have you gained something today? Share the post.

Even angels are wondering…

Why are you looking for the living among the dead?

This is not just a question.
It is a divine rebuke.

A disruption of every system that keeps the living tied to what is already buried.

It is unsettling, deeply unsettling,
that a man who is alive in Christ is still being interpreted through dead men,
explained by dead systems,
and bound by narratives that ended in the grave.

This association of the living with the dead is not just error,
it is a mislocation of identity.
The angels said three things, and they shook the foundations of religion:

Why are you looking for the living among the dead?

You are searching in the wrong realm.

He is not here, He is risen.
The reference point has changed.

Remember what He told you.

The problem is not power. The problem is memory. Doctrine. Alignment.
And yet today, we have refined a theology
that still looks for answers in graves.
We tell the born again man
that his life is being negotiated by the actions and inactions of dead people.

That his present is controlled by a past that Christ has already buried.
Even angels are wondering.
Because the gospel did not raise you halfway.

It did not relocate you slightly.
It translated you completely.
You are not an improved version of the old.

You are not a repaired lineage.
You are a new creation.
And in Christ, there is no provision
for dead men governing the living,
for dead systems interpreting the new man,
or for dead religion defining a resurrected identity.

A living dog is better than a dead lion.
Why?

Because life, even in its lowest form,
is superior to the highest expression of death.

So what exactly are you doing
consulting what has no life
to explain the one who now carries the very life of God?

This is the contradiction.
This is the crisis.
A man who has passed from death to life
still being taught to fear death,
study death,
trace patterns in death,
and build doctrines around death.

Even angels are wondering.

Because resurrection is not a metaphor.
It is a location.
A state of being.
A final verdict.
So stop looking backward for explanations
when heaven has already moved you forward.
Stop dignifying what Christ has buried.
Stop negotiating with what God has ended.

You are not among the dead.
You are alive.
