Love: it taught me to love the process before there was ever a finish line. The early mornings, the struggle, the small wins, even the pain. That’s why I build in public. If documenting my journey reaches one person who’s on the verge of giving up and shows them that there’s something worth fighting for on the other side, then sharing all of it was worth it.
Consistency: it showed me that one great run doesn’t change your life. It’s the thousands of ordinary miles nobody celebrates that eventually make you someone different. I look at building the same way: keep showing up, keep creating, keep putting another brick down.
We live on a floating rock, can talk to a lifeless little black box, and have the ability to build something from nothing. The crazier thing would be not believing it could all work out
@skpnky OWN the inputs long enough and eventually they start calling the outcome luck! Yes, I’d love to connect, shoot me a dm! Would love to hear more on what you’re building!!
if luck requires waking up at 4am, chasing the startup dream (building 2 startups), working a 9-5 in tech, training for the nyc marathon, and building a runclub in nyc then.. yes. yes, i do believe in luck.
There’s a house for mom & dad in my computer, I just have to hit the right buttons. Late nights, early mornings - I love every second of this process of building.
