Simplistic. US attacked Iran to undermine China. China has been protecting its own interests by aiding Iran with satellite info and missile technology, the effectiveness of which has resulted in destruction of US military bases in the Middle East and even threatened US warships. China has a massive interest in ending US hegemony and is pursuing that interest without blatantly confronting the United States.

The observed reality over the course of this war has been one of Iran continuously destroying less than it could but more than it did previously. The controlled escalation gives the US an incentive to stop. Iran could eliminate the desalination plants in multiple countries but instead has shown that ability without exercising it, for instance.

Loved this. Especially the graphs at the end showing all cause mortality rates relative to their historic levels. I still think there was a virus and that it came from the lab but it was not as dangerous as advertised and the responses, including the vaccine, probably killed a lot of people.

You and Brett don’t have an agreed upon definition of intelligence. You are probably each correct with your own definitions. Brett might define intelligence as a tendency to do what achieves the desired outcome. Being dismissive of him is counterproductive. He is highly intelligent, coherently explains why he believes what he does, and is bravely willing to be outside the mainstream. If you engage with him without prejudice and with an open mind you will not draw a relatively silly conclusion such as Brett is 30 years behind, like you are so much smarter than him and he is ignorant by comparison. There are ways to communicate with people whose views you disagree with and Brett is good at that.
