We are writing with heavy hearts to cry out for help.

42 children from Mussa Primary and Junior Secondary School, Askira Uba LGA, Borno State were abducted on May 15, 2026. The children include toddlers as young as 2 years old.

Today marks 67 days and our children are still being held in the forests. We have not heard anything about their whereabouts or condition.

We have waited, we have prayed, and we have reported. But up to today, we have not seen concrete action from the Borno State Government under Governor Babagana Zulum to secure their release and bring them home safely.

Our children are in the forest. They are scared, hungry, and in danger. Every day that passes puts their lives at more risk.

We are pleading:

1. Governor Zulum: Please act now. Deploy all necessary resources for the immediate rescue of the 42 Mussa children.
2. Security agencies: We need a coordinated rescue operation urgently.
3. The public and media: Help us amplify this. Do not let our children be forgotten.

We are parents, we are a community, and we are desperate. We cannot do this alone.

Please, help us call on the authorities to act before it is too late. Our children deserve to come home.

Public Safety Notice 🚨

One of our Operations and Logistics Directors narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt in Ngor Okpala, Imo State, on Friday last week.

He had traveled from Lagos to inspect a Mercedes-Benz vehicle that was advertised for sale. The seller, a woman, claimed that her husband was seriously ill and that they were selling the vehicle to raise funds for urgent medical treatment abroad.

Upon arriving in Ngor Okpala, the woman instructed him to check into a nearby hotel and wait for her, explaining that she was at the hospital with her husband and would contact him once she returned.

Later that evening, she called him and instructed him to meet her at the vehicle’s location. She also arranged for a commercial motorcycle rider to pick him up from the hotel.

While they were on their way, our director became suspicious. The road was isolated, bushy, and completely deserted. Sensing that something was wrong, he questioned the rider, asking, “What kind of place is this? Why is this road so lonely, with no one passing through?”

As he attempted to jump off the motorcycle, six armed men suddenly emerged from the bushes. They overpowered him at gunpoint and forcefully dragged him into the forest.

The kidnappers demanded that he transfer the money he had brought to purchase the vehicle. He explained that he had not come with any money because he had only been sent by his company to inspect the vehicle. He further informed them that payment would only be made after the inspection was completed and the client approved the purchase.

Realizing there was no money to extort, the kidnappers reportedly began making phone calls to individuals allegedly involved in organ trafficking, discussing the possibility of selling his body parts. According to his account, three of the men left the forest to contact the suspected buyers, while the remaining gang members stayed behind to guard him. One was armed with a firearm, while two others carried long knives.

In a remarkable act of courage and determination, our director seized an opportunity to struggle with his captors and miraculously escaped. He eventually made his way to safety and returned to Lagos yesterday. During the ordeal, he lost his mobile phone, personal documents, and other valuables.

The entire experience was deeply traumatic and could easily have ended in tragedy.

This unfortunate incident serves as a serious reminder that criminals are increasingly using deceptive online vehicle listings and fabricated stories to lure unsuspecting buyers into dangerous locations. Everyone is strongly advised to exercise extreme caution when traveling to inspect vehicles or conduct business in unfamiliar areas. Always verify the identity of sellers, avoid isolated meeting points, and never attend inspections alone.

It is truly heartbreaking to witness such incidents. We sincerely hope the relevant security agencies investigate this matter thoroughly and intensify efforts to combat kidnapping and other violent crimes.

Please stay vigilant, remain security conscious, and prioritize your safety at all times. Many places that appear harmless may, unfortunately, have become death traps for unsuspecting victims.

Yesterday, one APC data girl and one Obidient guy was having a head-to-head debate about Peter Obi's performance.

The Obidient pointed out Peter Obi's financial prudence as a good quality of a national leader.

The APC data girl got offended and quickly invited grok to the debate. She challenged grok that a visionary leader shouldn't be saving money when there's a need for development in various sectors like health.

And that was how grok scattered the remaining one leg of her writing desk. Grok took its time to educate her a visionary leader invests in development and uses fiscal prudence to sustain it.

Grok went ahead to inform her that Peter Obi's administration built Anambra's first teaching hospital, upgraded/constructed multiple general hospitals, added over 170 primary health centres, gave grants to mission hospitals and earned the Bill and Melinda Gates recognition for polio eradication progress. And all were achieved while maintaining transparent savings and no new debt.

And that was how she abandoned the debate. 😅
