@safe_breathe@airspothealth I first realized how important indoor air quality was when people I was following on social media started citing indoor air quality scientists.

I am very happy to announce that I will be giving away another two monitors this week in collaboration with @airspothealth!

When did you first realize how important indoor air quality is?
We will also give away a second monitor, so to double your chances of winning, please read the comments!
@RickABright I've really appreciated your posts re H5N1.
Is there any chance you're also on that new blue site? I'd love to be able to follow you there.
Thanks for the awareness you have been raising re the seriousness of H5N1 and the need to act.
@j_g_allen I've shared your new handle on Bluesky. I hope you give it a shot & engagement increases. But I appreciate that you may have your reasons for preferring this place.
Thank you for your IAQ advocacy!!! I've learned a great deal from you and cite your work in my advocacy efforts.
At the risk of annoying you fine folks, I *highly* recommend getting on the list of one of @nicktsergas's starter packs. Being on the list has absolutely transformed my Bluesky experience. I've heard many others say the same.
(I'll stop haranguing you now.)

There's a wave of Xitter refugees where the skies are bbblue.
@nicktsergas created starter packs to help ppl build up their experience on the app. Now is a good time to give that place a try, if you're so inclined.

@brailemom@jasmith_yorku I never had a problem, myself, but I was worried about it for a time. Here are two resources I found helpful:

@brailemom@jasmith_yorku Or put bed legs in containers lined with 2x-sided tape or with very slippery sides.
Also, spreading (food-grade) diatomaceous earth along baseboards, outlets, bed crevices, etc. is a good idea.
@jvipondmd Should I take this as a sign that more steps may be taken soon in Canada to improve indoor air quality (vis-ร -vis mitigating airborne pathogen transmission)?
@KkanCanada@jasmith_yorku I've measured >2,000 ppm CO2 in my not-terribly-old, local arena.
I've also measured >2,000 in the relatively new indoor soccer facility.
When I discuss this with facility mgmt & league mgmt, they say the facilities meet the building code. Period.
They know, and they don't care.
