@mythoclass_ From his video the Dragon's Breath thing makes sense to me if you consider certain GM Dawn Chorus applications. There's a really narrow niche for it but it is uniquely good in that niche for endgame. Most build applications it's just a worse 1kV though.

Places that don't get those grants have noticeably worse infrastructure, it is all taxpayer funded.

@PaulTassi @Forbes I would note that Marathon got its own separate bullet from the live services department bullet in the context of live services mentioning contributions to revenue. It is just inescapably true that Marathon tends to hover in the 300's on Steam's revenue ranking. Helldivers #63.

@PaulTassi Starting from a place with barely anything unlocked I've got tons of new things to try. Working on unlocking Song of Flame and Hellion for a Dawn Chorus build I can't wait to try. Sort of an update made for people like me who plays solo all the time anyway, but likes to tinker.

@PaulTassi I suspect I'll play for at least another few months. I don't game all that often and I almost certainly will run out of willpower before I run out of content. Might try and do some team stuff before the population craters if I find the time. Dual destiny, maybe a raid.

@chemchampion @TerribleMaps Came to comment the same thing after being raised partially in Iowa. A lot of places in the Midwest treat strangers very kindly to: a. suss out who they are and if they belong and b. encourage those who don't pass the first test to move along quickly.

@H3mppu @DivideGaming21 You're using the same data source as the OP but with no context for what time the screenshot was taken. From that data source your screenshot would have needed to occur between Tuesday night or early Thursday of last week as the player peak has not exceeded 9000 since.

@Mike_from_PA Pretty dramatically different environment for how much a bunch of talking heads on cable news are going to be able to get done in 2028 vs 2020 at any rate. Most of their audience can barely hold a thought for a conversation, let alone an election cycle.

@Mike_from_PA It's a dumb move, but I do agree they're kind of shooting themselves in the foot here. That "Joe Biden is clearly our only chance since he won South Carolina - a state that doesn't vote Democrat" media blitz isn't going to gain traction the same way if its first.

@PaulTassi Some people just don't want to play games with other players, Destiny occasionally had a hard time understanding that but came around to making things more solo friendly. It's weird they're having to relearn these same lessons.

@PaulTassi Peaked just over 8k today and has started declining. It might get a similar small bump in a couple hours like yesterday but recruitment seems low. I have no idea why they didn't make an engaging but easier solo experience that scales up to the hardest challenge being 3's.
