Jeon Yeobeen who was appointed as a judge for the competition section of the 51st Seoul Independent Film Festival said:
"It feels different. I'm also excited and curious about what good films there might be. I'm still very open to low-budget independent films even now. Directors who are working on good scripts, please send them to me. (laughs)"
"(The Seoul Independent Film Festival) is the festival that gave me an award for After My Death. I've always supported them in my heart, so when they contacted me (to be a judge), I felt very grateful and it meant a lot to me. Deep down, I kept asking myself, "Who am I to judge films? Am I really someone who can do that?" But now, instead of thinking like that, I want to show the mindset of growing together with the new filmmakers who will brighten the future of the independent film festival."
"I think of it as a place where we go to share our love for independent films. I decided to participate with that mindset. Recently, I enjoyed watching The World of Love so much. And it's an honor to be able to participate in this meaningful event."
