It's odd being told to take scripture literally, but when you try to take Christ's sermon literally: "bring good news to the poor, health to the sick, set prisoners free, and liberate the oppressed" you get called “woke” and told that social justice isn't biblical.

Stop arguing about whether it’s a gun issue or a heart issue and instead do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to stop these atrocities from happening. Gun safety, Access to better mental health care including taking trauma recovery very seriously. EVERYTHING WE CAN. NO QUESTION.

We don’t own our nation or its culture.

We don’t own marriage, family, or human sexuality.

We have convictions about these things, but so does everyone else.

Having deep convictions doesn’t give us the right to impose them on others.
