@andrearene@BlondeNerd @RianaTweetsNow @WhatsGood_Games What?! Nooooooooo! I haven't been a very active part of the community, but I've enjoyed every episode and am gutted about this news! ๐ญ I know it's not a decision made lightly and you're even more devastated, but know you've been a great source of news and shenanigans for many โค๏ธ
@EvaBalikova This game is so cute! I'm so glad I got to try it out at Game Access โค๏ธ I was wondering how you achieved the look and knowing you actually embroidered it makes this even more special!
@lilmissphillips Banks are so careful with their messages!
Mine once sent me a super secret one that I needed to log in for AND to strongly identify again to see it. The message: "you should come see us at the branch to sign stuff"
@superblindman@MistyRayburn I am so sorry to hear this! He was such an inspiration in his positive and relentless fight for accessibility. My condolences to his closest ones ๐โค๏ธ
@JamesBergCanada Oh no! My face (and hands and knees) tried the same on Friday with, thankfully, less drastic results. Still, everything hurts and is hecking uncomfortable. I hope you get effective treatment soon and recover as quick as possible!
I'm so excited to give a talk on how I ensure my projects are player centric in all development phases. I'm equally excited to visit Brno after a long break and explore the game dev scene there!
Give it up for @eevarjo, a Design Manager from @RedhillGames! In her talk at Game Access โ24, Emma will tell us all about how to apply a player-focused approach to games development ๐

One of the things the games industry often fails to do is promote the right people.
We promote our high performers, sometimes we promote the squeaky wheel, and worst of all we will push people who arenโt ready into roles of responsibility with no support or training simply to fill the job.
We need to support and train people with good leadership skills. Good communicators, those who can put project and team before themselves. Those you can trust. This isnโt always the best developer.
@osamadorias@Steve_deNiese How about a stealth game where you play as different letters that try to sneak their way through different levels. They can either try to stay in shadows or join a group (form a word) and fake their way through. I'm imagining a Hitman style deal, but other concepts work too
@osamadorias I'm so confused by the replies. Honestly, a major reason I'm not more active on here... ๐
But thank you for continuing to voice these things ๐ค
@Phantom_TheGame As a UX designer I don't often get to use math, but when I do, trig is surprisingly often included. My programmer friends are wonderfully supportive whenever I come to them to celebrate I got to do some simple math for a prototype
