โWhen a nation is struck by many plagues, RELIGION becomes the language through which politicians seek redemption; and the people, as though bewitched, tug at its garments, persuaded that their salvation resides therein. Oh! The potency of RELIGION.
@Sen_Adedotun@ozioma88@OurFavOnlineDoc You make such fierce defense as if you MUST live your life by manโs doctrines ๐คฆโโ๏ธ Since when has Godโs word stopped being sufficient? Read 2 Timothy 3 : 16-17.
@JAMBHQ The phrasing ('tendencies often observed among Nigerians') comes across as stereotyping. If this were based on data or a specific context, it would have been more reasonable. I think @jambhq's attempt at defending themselves appears weak. The officials do not seem competent.
@_StudioCelia@Oluwanonso_Esq If everyone supposedly forgot the message, why is he then so revered in the literary world? It seems we look for excuses to hide our own flaws so we could live with ourselves rather than admit we do not have what it takes to appreciate what the vast academia applauds.
@instablog9ja Daniel makes a good point, but Sholaโs tweet wasnโt thought through properly as the context it comes out as isnโt what he meant. This is why whatever you type must be well vetted before putting it out to the public.
@instablog9ja Pharmaceuticals wonโt need to be imported if the economic landscape of the country is favourable for foreign investments. Your government is earmarked by temporary and firefighting measures. Thatโs why youโve not found a permanent fix for the value of the naira.
