Teams call be like:
Němec: "Tak další hovor bych udělal v pátek 8. května."
Čech: "To nemůžu, máme u nás státní svátek."
Brit: "My taky."
Francouz: "My taky."
Němec: "Fakt? A co slavíte?"
Čech: "No.
@ryancrawcour@sudo_overflow If you have symptoms then you should isolate and do a PCR, or RAT test daily for a week and assume you have it until then. But sure, one single RAT test is not going to proof anything.
@ryancrawcour@sudo_overflow I find them highly effective if used right. If you rely purely on them you're screwed. But so many asymptotic cases found here just because of regular RAT testing. My son one of them. We would otherwise not have known he was positive.
@ryancrawcour @kuaTihau Should not fully rely on them but it's a good additional measure.
We have them here for a while already and it's a great way to regularly test asymptotic people.
We test ourselves with them at home a couple times per week, even after vaccination. Feels a tad safer.
@ryancrawcour@Outlook Isn't that exactly what it does? Mine shows just the "Compose" button if in email and "+" for new appointment when in calendar view. Doesn't even allow me to choose.🤔
@colinbowern We are using generic USB C hubs with HDMI and PD etc. at work.
They all do the job but particularly happy with stuff from UGREEN. Not sure whether you get them in NZ. Works well with Dell, Surface and even phones. And super cheap in comparison to the "original" docking stations.
@parsley72 Main reason we opened our European office was this. We have nobody in US but between Europe, China and NZ we manage to cover it all without on-call times.
