@wc_ratcliff@GeorgiaTech It's a lot of money that Tech would need to find to accommodate such a change. There are about 4000 PhD students and about half are post-qualifying. That's a 37 million dollar deficit. I think most would support the idea if there was a plan to replace that loss.
