“Lt Alkonis has consistently demonstrated throughout his life that he is an upstanding person who has devoted his life to protecting others and being a good father.” -Patrick Kennedy
Thank you @PJK4brainhealth for your support of #LtRidgeAlkonis.
Some uninformed folks have withheld support of #LtRidgeAlkonis b/c they believe that Ridge would have gone to jail in the US for the same accident. This just isn’t the case. Ridge did not commit any crime by US standards and even @JapanGov laws allow for accidents.
US Execs move to JP by choice for the $. #LtRidgeAlkonis was ORDERED to Japan by the #USNAVY to serve this country as well as his own. @usembassytokyo why are execs more deserving of your help than our Service Members?
@MittRomney before you sit down to enjoy the Fourth of July with your family, please consider calling the parents of #LtRidgeAlkonis I can’t think of a better way to express your patriotism than to help a Naval Officer in dire need. #bringridgehome
@USAmbJapan I pray that values, principles, and a rules-based order prevail during Navy LT Ridge Alkonis’s upcoming Appeals hearing. Ridge has spent nearly his entire career dedicated to strengthening the US-Japan Alliance. Thanks @freetrevorreed for bringing attention to this case.
