@americangobbler@BurressO@therealdcunna@vahousegop I think that was the real mistake. But I'm not 100% convinced it was "for the betterment of the university". But this is based on four people, and not my own experience. So could be wrong, but just based on that they seemed sure
@americangobbler@BurressO@therealdcunna@vahousegop Really don't know that for sure. People on both sides were concerned with his behavior. Like I said, it was a bonus but the political part wasn't why he allegedly got in trouble. Just telling you what was told to me. Though I agree that she should have provided a reason.
@bwealand@avanveen8@petebvt That was the ethics violation, allegedly. That and he promised he wouldn't do something, and then went and tried to do it anyway. To be fair to that last point, I don't know exactly what that was.
@americangobbler@BurressO@therealdcunna@vahousegop She does. I'm not saying she liked him, or that there aren't political benefits. But those are just bonuses. He took a risk and flew a little too close to the sun. It is what it is. Even some Republicans on the BOV were concerned with his behavior.
