1. More of our taxes is going to oil and gas giants to guarantee their huge profits
2. More of our income is going to banks and lenders because interst and mortgage rates higher
3. Banks and oil / gas giants (and the wealthy) are paying less tax

What the government are doing presents an existential threat to UK nature protections - and the UK nature conservation movement *has* to respond accordingly: not just with strong words, but mass mobilisation - mass MP lobbying, marches, direct action. It’s now or never.
In response to the Governments announcements this week including today's #MiniBudget and lifting the ban on #Fracking, failing to help those struggling with the #CostOfLiving while giving bankers a handout, we have to say:
The UK budget is beyond shameful. A massive handout to the rich, punishing for the poor, destructive towards the planet. Dark money interest and think-tanks and Brexit deregulators now run Britain. (We are tweeting out analysis here.)
