Nuremberg laws had a little-known veto rule specifically reserved just for Hitler; he could declare anybody "honorary Aryan" of any race, and they would have been treated just as Germans.

One of those people was an Austrian Jewish doctor named Eduard Bloch. When Hitler's mother had cancer in 1907, he was her doctor, and he did everything he could to save her. He even reduced his fees because Hitler's family didn't have money to pay him.

In 1938, when Germany annexed Austria, Hitler declared Doctor Bloch an honorary Aryan, and he got full protection from the SS and lived just as a German would in Austria.

In 1940, when he decided to move to the United States, he was free to go without any issues.
