UPDATE ON MY WORST DATE!!! 😭😂 (because you all asked nicely)☺️

While we were still on the date, my mum called on her way back from work to ask what we were having for dinner. As I was answering her, she asked where I was and I told her.

Next thing this woman said was, “Okay, I’ll branch and pick you.” 😭

I started begging immediately.
“Mummy please no, I will find my way… in my head “you can’t see this giant yet abeg.” 😩

But did she listen? No.

She came, greeted him politely and then asked if he wanted to join us for dinner at home. And this man said he didn’t mind. 😭

MUMMY IT’S EBA WE ARE EATING O.
I already brought the soup out from the freezer before leaving for work. Why is this man following us home?? He’s just a friend fcs.😭

All these thoughts were running through my head but I couldn’t say anything.

Anyway, he came home, met my dad, ate dinner and left peacefully. But that night? Ahhh. The interrogation I faced.😭 Daddy for the umpteenth time, “he’s not my boyfriend and he’s not a suitor.”😩

My mum kept calling him “elephant man.” 😂😂 What about that elephant man? Apparently, “elephant” in his language is his surname.😂

Fast forward, we went to see his new apartment the next day and honestly, it was beautiful and classy. Then this man started begging me to sleep over.

Sleep over???
Me that still lives in my father’s house?? 😭

I told him I would need to ask for permission first. Please let’s respect ourselves. We branched to his snr sister place because her son was doing his birthday, I brought fruits with me. I met all his other sisters (he’s the only son). Apparently, she knew my mom,🤭 small world. They loved me, they didn’t stop telling me how beautiful I was.

As time went on, we planned more outings, but somehow one or two of his friends were always there. I was trying to be understanding because they hadn’t seen him in years, so I assumed they were all catching up.

One time, one of my girlfriends slept over at my place and he knew about it. He asked me to come out with her because his single friend wanted to meet her. I agreed.

But deep down, I really wanted alone date with this man so I could actually know him properly.

So during one of our conversations, I finally told him I wanted it to be just the two of us.

He then said he knew one local spot I would love because he remembered I liked local food.

I was excited🤭
