Here for my SD Padres, Everton & all the tech, investment & blockchain visionaries I track for newsfeed purposes. Twitter Lurker since 2007 SxSw 😬 Work for PE
@theBeerkid69 Musgrove has a 7.1 BB9 (his BB% has went up as he’s gone up levels from A to A+ from 11.8% to 15.5%), 1.86 WHIP & 4.52 FIP - he’s not “clearly” better than the competition yet.
Like others have said, his stuff is off the charts but he still is raw & needs further refinement.
This feels so much like Nola 2.0 where the org invested so much into a bad asset and are slow to move away from it. Easy to cut Castellanos who cost nothing but when you stupidly trade two controllable assets it’s harder to let go.
I swear something’s not right with Fermin, possibly as a result of that two-ish week stretch where he was just eating fouled off pitches to the face and body. And when Camp comes back, I think I prefer Duran stays up over Fermin, and it might not be close for me either.
Against all odds, this team has secured at least a .500 road trip through two tough places to play and has beaten Logan Gilbert and the Miz. Just enjoy the ride, man. What else can you say.
@dennistlin@AJCassavell it would be great to get an answer from the team/hitting coaches about what looks like a systemic problem, not just individual slumps.
Laureano 2 for last 30 with 15Ks
Manny 3 for last 36 with 11 Ks
Merrill 2 for last 22 with 10 Ks
Tatis 7 for 38 with 12 Ks
Add it up and its 14 for 126, 111 avg and a 37% K rate
Never gonna maintain a winning record with those 4 alleged sluggers that pathetic.
Tatis Jr. is human; this bandwagon idiot doesn’t represent all Padres fans, certainly not me.
Nando is a Padre; I will always root for him as long as he’s a Padre - he’s given me more to cheer for in his time so far than this mistake & his recent slump…Keep the Faith.
Fernando Tatis Jr jogging after the ball that got by him and on to the warning track is the worst part of all of this. I don’t care if he’s hitting baseballs 140 mph. He has 0 homers and is now doing stuff like this. Bench him. Do something. It’s over.
Fernando Tatis Jr. just struggled through the worst month of his career. He has yet to pull a fastball in the air.
He tinkers as much as any hitter in the game, which we saw throughout a successful year in 2025.
So what’s his best foot forward in 2026? https://t.co/i0PefzxQZ4
My fertilizer/agriculture vehicle of choice here is $AGRO.
Tether, the guys buying more tons of physical gold every week than central banks, are a major shareholder. They are buying physical gold, gold royalty companies, and this. Real assets.
South American exposure to fertilizer, sugar, farmland, et al.
@Kacper_PK_CH Adecoagro SA $AGRO is well positioned to benefit esp. after their acquisition of South America’s largest Urea producer Profertil and they are the strategic low-cost producer leveraging fixed natural gas costs guaranteed through to the end of 2027 w/massive margin expansion opty.
