The sanctions imposed by the United States against the International Criminal Court must be condemned. The bullying and intimidation of international institutions and officials must stop.

The Court is not the property of any politician, any government or any generation. It represents a solemn promise to victims of the gravest crimes that the law will not abandon them, however powerful those responsible may be.

States Parties and all those who believe in the rule of law must stand firmly with the Court and its officials and staff, to protect its independence and to ensure that it has the means to fulfil its mandate.

We must never allow the promise of justice to become a casualty of political power and vested interests. The victims of atrocities have suffered enough. They must not be deprived of hope, protection and effective redress.

गुजरात हाईकोर्ट की चीफ जस्टिस सुनीता अग्रवाल ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अपनी नियुक्ति के आदेश के 24 घंटे के भीतर महान फैसला दिया है और अपनी योग्यता साबित की है।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की डिग्रियों को सार्वजनिक किए जाने की मांग को उनकी दो सदस्यीय बेंच ने RTI कानून का दुरुपयोग बताया है और कहा है कि डिग्रियों की मांग में कोई जनहित नहीं छिपा है यह व्यक्तिगत जानकारी है।

जो फैसले का सबसे अहम बिंदु है वो यह है कि डिग्री की मांग को लेकर उन्होंने अरविंद केजरीवाल पर लगाए 25 हजार के जुर्माने को जायज बताया है।

यह देश ऐसे हीं चल रहा है। यह देश ऐसा ही है।

जब हम मोदी सरकार से मुतालबा करते थे कि वह मुसलमानों की तालीमी, समाजी और मआशी हालत पर आँकड़े जुटाए, तो सरकार झट से अपना मुँह फेर लेती थी। अमित शाह का “डेमोग्राफी कमीशन” अब राज्यों से आँकड़े माँग रहा है कि किस मज़हब के लोगों ने कितनी गाड़ियाँ ख़रीदीं, किसके पास कितनी ज़मीन है वग़ैरह।

इस कमीशन का एजेंडा यह नहीं है कि आँकड़ों की बुनियाद पर बेहतर नीतियाँ बनाई जाएँ, बल्कि आँकड़ों को इस तरह तोड़-मरोड़कर पेश किया जाए कि मुसलमानों को निशाना बनाया जा सके और उनके बचे-कुचे हक़ भी उनसे छीन लिए जाएँ।
