Hamed Tizrooyan, a PhD student and wildlife photographer, was investigating the suspicious, devastating fires destroying Iran's ancient Hyrcanian forests. He clearly got too close to the truth behind the regime's ecological crimes.

On May 4th, intelligence forces abducted him, seized his electronics, and threw him into Sari prison under fabricated “national security” charges.

Reports now indicate his condition in prison is CRITICAL. The Islamic Republic has a dark history of murdering environmentalists to cover up their corruption. Hamed didn't commit a crime; he caught the criminals.

We cannot let the regime murder another environmentalist in the dark.
