One of the reasons I don’t like politics is this.

When TOE made that tweet during the last administration, telling everyone how staggering the level of oil theft was and how investors were losing huge amounts of money, I remember many members and supporters of the ruling party coming out to attack him with whatever they could.

Today, the same party is still in power, but the current President has decided to do certain things differently and better.
Now, it is obvious that what TOE was saying then was right, and many of those attacking him were simply playing politics.

But should politics really make political followers lose all sense of objectivity?

Can you at least be mute (you don’t have to support) when a clearly nonpartisan person is calling our attention to a genuine problem affecting the country?
