@cityofofallon Thank you for the notice, but this doesn’t really come up on a map… It’s the 8200 block of Mexico Road between Sonderen/White Oak and Aspen Pointe, I believe.
Today was the warmest March day on record. At St Louis, 5 of the Top 10 warmest March days have occurred this year. At Columbia and Quincy, 3 of the Top 10 warmest have been this year.
This Alaskan radar is the coolest thing you’ll see today. Picturesque low pressure that resembles a tropical storm off the coast of Alaska tonight. And it's 100% snow. One of the odder storms and radar loops...
This is kind of wild... level 1 out of 5 marginal risk for hail AND Des Moines/Cedar Rapids are under a blizzard warning AND models are suggesting some of the initial hail-producing thunderstorms might also deliver freezing rain...
M'kay.

ON THIS DAY: Fifteen years ago, a magnitude 9 earthquake and resulting tsunami struck Japan’s northeastern coast, killing nearly 20,000 people and severely damaging the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power station. https://t.co/KetP5fMstm
Here's the preliminary total snowfall from the weekend winter storm. There was a swath of 8–11” along/S of I-44 in MO and I-70 in IL, with a narrow corridor of over 12” across southeastern MO & southern IL. Thank you to everyone that submitted snowfall reports!

Cold air is expected this weekend into early next week behind a potent cold front. Well below average temperatures are expected with wind chills falling to near or below 0 each morning mainly north of I-70.
A couple of rounds of light snow are expected. The first arrives this evening and the second come Friday afternoon into Friday evening. Each round brings the potential for up to 1/2" of snowfall. A few slick spots may develop Friday and Saturday mornings. #mowx#ilwx#stlwx
St. Louis (Lambert) has reached at least 77 degrees, which makes this the warmest December temperature on record! A front is approaching and will move through in the next 1-2 hours, quickly ending our warmth and ushering in Arctic air!
What truly saddens many long-time users is not that Samsung failed to win in any particular year, but the feeling of being gradually abandoned. You chose to believe again and again, waited through generation after generation, paying flagship prices while offering something far more valuable. your patience and trust in the brand. And then you realize that five years have passed, and the core imaging hardware has barely changed. This is not a single failure. It is five consecutive years without any real intention to move forward. In that moment, it becomes clear: you are no longer a respected user, but simply someone assumed to keep paying anyway.
What makes this so disheartening is that this stagnation is not born of necessity, but of habit. Even Apple, a company known for its conservatism, has never dared to treat consumers this way. Yet Samsung repeatedly tests the limits, using “it’s still usable” as justification and “you’ll understand” as an unspoken assumption. Algorithms are packaged as progress, launch narratives are rewritten year after year, but the memories of long-time users are not erased. You begin to realize that what you are waiting for is no longer the next product, but a genuine response.
When a company can face consumers with the same hardware for five straight years, what it is consuming is no longer technological headroom, but trust itself. And once trust is repeatedly ignored, what remains is silence and departure. Awakening does not require anger. It only requires clarity: when even the will to improve no longer exists, no amount of algorithms or storytelling can bring back a user who feels respected.
Welcome to the (frozen) Jungle!
We saw fans scraping ice off of their seats with credit cards 🥶
The wind chill will be around -3 at kickoff.

Yesterday's forecast has shifted within the past 24 hours. What's changed? There is a much lower chance for snow areawide, with most locations forecast to see light rain or nothing. The greatest chance for snow remains in our far northern counties, though they may not see any.
