@uaf@AntiRacismDay@Searchlight_mag We're hearing the same chants, seeing the same ugly hatred etched on their faces. Emboldened by the complicity of some of our politicians and media and the silence of others. Our voices of solidarity and anti-racism must always be louder than theirs.
"...of course Farage would say..."; "...two tier policing...".
Can always rely on the #BBC to amplify Farage's hate and to present opinions (two tier policing) as fact.
What has happened to the #BBC? This isn't balance! #broadcastinghouse
It's not just the exploitation of a tragedy.
JD Vance's picture of Britain - where migrants have led to a crime surge - is the opposite of the truth.

@raelbrav@elonmusk Interesting.
Half the post is abuse, the other half is a list of Musk’s companies. Neither demonstrates that Starmer is wrong, that “two-tier policing” exists, or that Musk isn’t amplifying division.
It's a ridiculous and unwanted intervention and any journalist worthy of the title would extract themselves from Vance's backside and tell him to busy himself with the woes of the US.
@elliehodges62 He didn't have to be perfect. No would-be MPs are great at the start. He had to be sincere, curious, have a semblance of knowledge, have some integrity and possess the humility to apologise for the disgusting things he said and approved of. He had none of that and you know it!
@EVRobes@narindertweets I'm not your PA so Google is your friend here...Five X More, UK Parliament publications, BMJ...
Racism is a factor. Of course it's not the only one that explains the disparities. Coutinho's intervention could have been helpful if she were a good faith actor. She's not!
Why did the BBC describe rioters in Southampton last night as ‘protestors’. They weren’t protestors, they were rioters. Where has the BBC's objectivity gone? Why can't they tell the truth?
@EVRobes@narindertweets There is plenty of research available. The lamentable Claire Coutinho (terrible in every brief she has been assigned) should have read some of it before getting her dog whistle out. And so should you!
@zalikita@Mr_Matt_Evans@SaulStaniforth Because black women are less likely to have their concerns listened to; because myths about black women being able to cope with pain persist...
It's not only racism but it plays a role , still, and Coutinho & others suddenly trying to negate that are opportunistic and dangerous.
“The left” does not say all these things are purely caused by individual racism. “The left” is well aware these things are complex.
“The left” does say that individual, institutional and structural racism is often a factor, and where it is we should do something about it.
And so it begins. Negating actual experiences of racism and the perpetuation of old tropes; @ClaireCoutinho and other ghouls seeking to dismiss systemic racism beginning with maternity care. What next?
Narinder is proving my exact point.
Is it wrong for me to say we should not assume racism is the problem, but we should look for the evidence?
Is it wrong to say we should be driven by facts not ideology when considering health or crime or education?
What a mad response.
A man was violently stabbed to death.
The murderer was arrested and convicted.
One of the murderer's family members was also convicted of aiding and abetting him.
No, I am not talking about poor Henry Nowak; I am talking about poor Mohammed Algassim, a Saudi Arabian student, here to learn English, who was murdered in Cambridge by a drunken, coked-up, white Englishman.
If you are astute enough to go to the BBC News website, then click on "England",
then click on "Local News",
then click on "East"
then click on "Cambridge"
you will find a report on it...
