Still, I am sobered by way in which royalism can morph into authoritarianism (i.e. absolutism) rather quickly if certain guardrails fall off. I worry about congressional complicity.

The problem is that Musk’s false statements (lies) about the “condoms in Gaza” caused a massive backlash. Caused important funding to be discontinued. And here he so casually dismisses it. What on earth is this unelected man doing in our government? It’s insane!
