@Bill_Badbody Why oh why are you still giving this mentally unstable man the coverage he and his family so desperately want to keep the money flowing in ? How distressing it must be for the pupils and staff of this school !

@Nettofabulous It’s very good

💙 THE TRUE SOUL OF WICKLOW GAA | 97-YEAR-OLD TOM CARTHY WITNESSES HISTORY AT HQ! 🟦🟨

Every now and then, a story lands in our inbox that reminds us exactly why we play, why we volunteer, and what the blue and gold jersey truly means. 🏔️✨

Breda Carthy sent us these beautiful photos of Tom Carthy, aged 97. Originally from the proud footballing parish of Annacurra, Tom now lives in Dublin, but his heart has never left the Wicklow hills.

On Saturday, Tom made the journey to Croke Park as a proud Wicklow man. At 97 years young, he was very possibly one of the oldest supporters in the entire stadium! He was joined by his brilliant wife Eileen, who at 99 years young stood right by his side as a proud Mayo woman! 🦅❤️

To see the modern generations of Wicklow men complete that legendary comeback and lift the Tailteann Cup at Headquarters was a deeply profound and emotional moment for Tom. Decades of patience, passion, and unshakeable pride culminated in that final whistle.

Tom, stories like yours are the very fabric of Wicklow GAA. You and Eileen are an absolute inspiration to us all, and we are absolutely thrilled that the lads could bring that cup home to the people who have loved the county longest. 🏆🥇

While in Ireland, I stumbled across what might be the most beautiful church entrance I’ve ever seen. County Cork never ceases to amaze.

@conor_pope I remember asking a customer who worked for Eircom at the time if he recommended buying shares and his answer was that he was not sure but that they (eircom staff) were told that they should sell their shares as soon as they got them and I took that as being a sign not to buy .

Nikita Hand had her house broken into by masked intruders.

Samantha Murphy’s car was set on fire in her garden.

Both women had filed criminal charges against Conor McGregor.

Make of that what you will.
