🚨 This sick evil bastard posted this disinformation on 1st June, now seen more than half-a-million times.

The photos of Christi Hill (a former officer) and Tristan Parsons (another officer), falsely label them as responsible for "un aliving" (killing/neglecting) Henry Nowak and calling for their names to "never be erased" until "justice."

Hill had left the force over a year earlier (April 2024), and Parsons was out of the country (in the US) at the time.

Neither was involved in the tragic Nowak incident. The misidentification (amplified by social media and even AI errors) has led to death threats, forcing both into hiding/safe houses.

The account @AlexHawthorn2 has multiple red flags: it's a low-follower "patriot" account; generic bio; zero evidence it's their actual legal name; a clearly fake photograph; it has just 257 followers despite being created 6 years ago; it follows numerous far-right-related US accounts; and almost all of its followers are similarly low-follower/anonymous/pseudonymous.

The shit-stirring coward behind this account should be tried for inciting violence and wasting police time and UK taxpayers' money, forced to pay the costs of putting two police officers into hiding/safe houses, and made to pay damages to them for the death threats they received.

Despite all this, the misleading tweet is STILL up, and the account is still churning out toxic shit, thanks to @elonmusk.
