AltaMed, the nation’s largest 340B “nonprofit” health system, is quietly lobbying for an exemption from President Trump’s 340B reforms.

CEO Castulo de la Rocha earns nearly $2 million a year, and he and his wife have reportedly received more than $20 million from AltaMed.

AltaMed even hired a Chief Curator to oversee an extensive art collection (pics below).

The organization has also directed money to political figures such as Gavin Newsom and Xavier Becerra, along with groups like Latino Victory Project.

In short, AltaMed wants a carve-out so taxpayers don’t look too closely at where they’re going.

1. Cut Meals on Wheels funding that serves vulnerable seniors, and 2. take away up to $2,500 of property tax relief promised to seniors, including those on fixed incomes, while "finding" & redirecting $20 million in taxpayer dollars to legal services/deportation defense for non-citizens.

PRIORITIES. Apparently the Majority has shifted its stance under the governor?

New Jersey citizens come last.

Oh, and the next time someone tells you Washington is taking food off people's tables, remember this:
New Jersey overpaid roughly $660 million in federal SNAP benefits in 2023 due to a staggering 35.7% error rate. Even after "improvement", the error rate was still 14% in 2024.

Before Trenton lectures anyone else about protecting vulnerable families, maybe it should focus on correctly administering the benefits it already has & making sure hundreds of millions in federal dollars sent to the state actually reach the people who need & qualify for them, because we now know the Governor & Majority share a new priority.

While I was getting my master’s degree at New York University, I personally
watched a horse collapse and drop in the middle of the street and the disgusting illegal migrant (whatever he was) beating the dying animal as it lay there helpless. That horrifying image is still burned into my memory.

This is left-wing New York City, the same crowd that endlessly pretends to care about animals and animal rights, yet they do nothing. They allow these poor horses to be brutally abused and worked to death every single day.

The New York Post will happily splash the shocking photo of another tortured carriage horse dying in the street across its pages, then monetize the suffering for clicks and views.

But where is your real outrage? Why won’t you use your platform to fight for a full ban on these barbaric horse carriages?
