@willcharlesii As @_jmbush said, the historical way this has been answered is "sin as privation." Sin is failing to live up to the good, so sin is not an ability but the lack of ability. Murder is failing to preserve life, adultery is failing to love, etc.
A usage note on the words “mission” and “sending.” In English diction we often have a choice between a word derived from Latin (usually by way of medieval French) and a word derived from Anglo-Saxon (often from medieval German).
I predict that within 10 years, there will be a slow but mass trickle of people leaving hyperconnectivity. Social scientists will call it The Great Disconnection, but others will reinterpret it by saying it is better named The Great Reconnection—to personal/natural life.
