@JustinPetersMin I somewhat disagree with this. Yes, the rest of the Psalm says what Gid will do to the heathen, but I think this particular verse is telling us to trust that God will defeat his (and by extension, our) enemies. And he's not whispering, he's saying it for all to hear.
