Behold the captivating sight of the Bell 47, gracefully embracing the sunset sky at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021.

Introduced into the U.S. military in late 1946, the Bell 47 became more than just an Army aircraft.

On the civilian side of things, KTLA in Los Angeles outfitted a Bell 47 with a television camera, where it made the world's first flight by a television news helicopter on July 3, 1958, earning the moniker 'Telecopter.'
