@goldisacks For family vacations we drove everywhere, it was essential to have ice to refill our cooler and keep food cool. Our family packed a lot of food, we didn’t eat out everywhere.
@KB_McCullough @JCO_ASCO Kristen, this is so beautifully written. It truly captures what I (and I’m sure many others) feel in the world of oncology pharmacy. Thank you for writing this.
This impeachment threat from Robin Vos and state Republicans is upending politics in Wisconsin, threatening to vault the state into a world of political turmoil and constitutional crisis.
This madness needs to stop.

@amyfaithho I remember a very specific time on patient care rounds where my physician colleagues introduced me as “Dr. King” without clarifying I was the pharmacist on the team, and the immediate panic I felt 😂. Although that title is earned, I never want to confuse my patients by using it
@JacktheFate So I think I have less distrust of completely wrong results, and more a question of, does this matter? Does this change anything? Which is how most people in a clinical practice setting take research and translate it to practice. Though not always..
@JacktheFate I don’t know as if in our field people are focused on completely wrong results, but in drug trials, it’s more the design of the study and the outcomes they are looking at in cancer. Also, results may be statistically significant, but are they clinically significant?

@Gabby_Brauner27 The whole system needs a revamp.. personally, I’m not sure how much the undergraduate education benefitted me. I think limiting that time to help start pharm/med school earlier would reduce some debt, and also allow you to reach full earning potential earlier.
@Gabby_Brauner27 Crazy. I’m a PharmD, but work closely with a lot of MDs, and you 100% earn every bit of that salary. For some specialities, it takes so long to get to your full earning potential, meanwhile missing out on other financial opportunities like investing for retirement early.
@pharmd_sarah@ASHPOfficial If you love sushi, there is a delicious sushi buffet nearby, Sakana sushi. The shows in Vegas are amazing, if you can go to a cirque du soleil show, highly recommend.
