unsolicited devconnect advice: opportunity is around you, not above you.

talk to new people, even if you don’t know their name, truly talk to them, give them a chance to enter your life. you might be standing next to someone who will change the course of your next year, or someone who just needed one kind word to believe in themselves again.

if you see someone standing awkwardly in the corner while everyone crowds around someone “popular,” go speak to them. that person might have a story you’ll never forget.

leave the chaos, get a mate, take a walk, breathe the same air and remember that this whole thing started because people dared to talk to strangers about impossible dreams.

say hi to the people at booths, even if you think you’re not their target audience. if they try to sell you something and you’re not into it, ask a question anyway, change the topic, make them laugh. they’ll be grateful for it, and so will you.

if you feel awkward, don’t go on your phone to scroll. put your phone in your pocket and look around you. the world will be unfolding, right there in front of your eyes.

and of course, read the room, please don’t force anything but give fate a chance.
