Maama Janet and I visited the Kigo Carpentry and Skilling Centre today. After listening to the artisans’ presentation, I advised them to reconsider the traditional approach of fragmented individual work.

They should come together to form group-owned companies for sustainability and collective wealth. This tendency to work individually is risky. We taught the Banyankore not to divide land when the time for inheritance comes but to stay united and work as a family.

I would like to congratulate the 413 officers and men who graduated today from the Mechanised Warfare College in Karama, Mubende District.

I congratulate the Ugandans who are members of the NRM on account of, apparently, a much more peaceful and fraud-free Primaries for the LC-Vs, Mayors, Councillors, etc., that were conducted on Thursday, the 24th of July, 2025. By yesterday evening, reports confirmed that 7.95 million NRM members had participated in the Primaries of Thursday. In connection with the use of money to bribe voters, I watched a TV panel involving one Kivumbi who was saying that those who bribe voters are copying the example of Museveni who normally gives the brown envelope.
