We recorded and posted a reel about contrast styling as a concept - why two seemingly disparate dressing sensibilities look so good styled together, about a week ago. Link to the reel below https://t.co/WfGnZEIuBz

The horrific story of the four year old whose limbs were broken by an Israeli commander underscores what is now really clear. The West's performed hyper-attention to children is only for white children--the only ones allowed to have childhood or innocence. This means really that
It’s holiday season and I made a little video about independent retail and what ‘shop small’ really represents 🌸 it also made me think about all the indie shops I shopped at, in my 20s and 30s that eventually made me start my own little ‘Ela Kada’ https://t.co/EVMTa5T0AO

I am fixated on the man with crutches. His head is down. He struggles, the pain and humiliation unequal to any human.
These are Palestinians, many of them medical workers. They are wearing very ordinary briefs and shoes, suggesting the very basic means available to these men. Imagine being one of those Israeli soldiers? What must be going through their heads?
The Geneva Conventions (1949) says that civilians must not be taken prisoner, and that 'outrages upon personal dignity, in particular humiliating and degrading treatment' is basically a war crime.
Each one of these Israeli soldiers, regardless of what they are thinking, are war criminals.
Likely raped to death.
A doctor. A stellar surgeon. The embodiment of Palestinian ethics.
Likely raped to death.
The racism of Western media who are not covering this, and Western politicians who are not denouncing this, together with the thousand other testimonies and allegations of rape and other forms of mistreatment and torture that Palestinians have suffered in Israeli jails, is absolutely sickening.
So this is to say - the violence starts and it ends with occupation and colonialism. Not contextualising resistance movements only serves to absolve the occupier of their crimes.
Israeli forces have cut off northern #Gaza from aid, ordering civilians out.
In September, they denied or impeded the access of 83% of all humanitarian movements planned to cross the south-north checkpoints.
This is how it looks on the ground. #AccessDenied
What is happening right now in Jabalia is enough justification for armed resistance to any and all colonial projects till the end of time.
Any Westerner who does not speak out over the next few days will have forever forfeited any semblance of moral rectitude, spine, or authority.
This entity and the Empire that arms it needs to be defeated and dismantled.
"Appeal"?! Netanyahu just threatened to carry out a genocide against Lebanon, and THAT is how @BBCWorld describes it?!
This framing is a crime against journalism.
