Fellow Americans,
The Japanese are making delicious soups (imoni, taro root with meat) with specialized excavators. Why aren't we innovating on giant chilis and chowders via this method? This should be at some state fair or a food eating competition.
"Pokemon" is short for "pocket monsters".
"Digimon" is short for "digital monsters".
Therefore, "salmon" is short for "saltwater monsters".
(You might object: salmon spend a big part of their life in freshwater. But pokemon spend a big part of their life outside pockets too!)
If America beats Bosnia and Herzegovina in tonight's World Cup game, tomorrow we will sell our jars of grass-fed or Wagyu cooking oil for 25 cents each — one per customer, while supplies last. This cooking oil can be used for eggs or steak, and it has a high smoke point.
Steak n Shake is a leading force behind all things beef tallow. Go USA! 🇺🇸
@Alexfeinberg Interesting idea. I'm sure an exception could be made for them similar to what we do for citizenship already, but what of military dependents with parents serving overseas, or the children of diplomats?
Does time in the womb count for this?
@monsterhunter45 George Martin is not a fantasy writer.
He is a fantasy unwriter.
Because the amount of fantasy literature he destroyed is far greater than the amount he created.
Observation from Toy Story 5 (no major spoilers):
For Toy Story 5 families, the maximum number of pregnancies is capped at *one*. The most kids was a family of one pair of twins.
If children don't observe big families, they never dream of them.
@Luxin_Xeno Still chuckling over how Eleanor is エレノア in Japanese.
(Elenoa, Elly + Noah). Yeah, Elly was エリィ. Close enough.
Also of interest: it looks like Ellenora (for one of Perceval's Blade Quests in Mor Ardain) in Xenoblade 2 had the same name エレノア in Japanese.
@elsathora I would recommend any small to large town north of the Mason Dixon line, because of sunset and night timing. Any US suburb will be fine, or do one of the major cities and outdoor orchestras.
