Charles Barkley Has a Message for All of the WNBA Players 'Hate on Caitlin Clark'
Hall of Fame NBA player Charles Barkley gave strong opinions about Caitlin Clark's mistreatment by fellow WNBA players.
"You women out there, y'all are petty..."
"Y'all should be THANKING that girl for getting you all private charters, all the money and visibility she's bringing to the WNBA."
Clark was given several "cheapshots" and was even called a "b*tch" on live television during the Indiana Fever's game against Angel Reese's Chicago Sky.
The Indiana Fever beat the Chicago Sky by 1 point.
Clark's detractors have accused her of "white privilege," despite her ranking as the highest-scoring women's player in NCAA history.
"Caitlin Clark, thank you for bringing all the money and shine to the WNBA," he said.
Pondering a line from Victor Hugo's 1832 novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame:
“There exists in this era, for thoughts written in stone, a privilege absolutely comparable to our current freedom of the press. It is the freedom of architecture.”
Brilliant from @LauraCattari on the shameful decision of @fordnation and his administration to cancel the #Ontario#BasicIncome experiments - the people of Ontario will carry the repercussions for his decision to focus on beer rather than improving the lives of his citizens
Poverty makes people sick. Social assistance rates in Ontario are already too low - further cuts by @fordnation put vulnerable individuals at even higher risk of poor physical and mental health outcomes.

A single parent living with a disability is left with $262 to feed herself and her kids. The 1.5% increase = $25 more. It was peanuts at 3%. But this is even worse. Shame on the Ford Government.
It's more than 15 years since Portugal decriminalised all drugs, & transferred all the money they used to spend on shaming, arresting & punishing ppl with addictions, into turning their lives around. The result? Huge fall in addictions, injecting drug use, & overdose deaths.
While creating & maintaining a health policy is everyone’s job, nurses carries an important role in health policy. Nurses in direct clinical practice live at the edge of health policies every day. “Nursing skills are political skills”. Nursing is a political act. Be involved.
"They want to transform our constitution in a radical and fundamental way and we are all being distracted by the president's tweets while this is going on." – Nancy MacLean #RealTime
Ontario’s Basic Income project was a carefully designed experiment to see if #basicincome could change a person’s health, #mentalhealth, income, work effort, housing etc.
Stopping it means we lose the answers to all those questions.
Not okay.

Toxic team dynamics in high-risk areas of healthcare can have disastrous consequences for patient safety. And the answer is rarely checklists. Professional coaching can really help to work through conflicts in teams.

Doug Ford broke his promise to maintain the #basicincome pilot, and now thousands of people's lives are upended. Sign the petition to overturn this decision, and join the fight to protect basic income in #Ontario! #onpoli#PromisesMadePromisesBroken https://t.co/FwsV4KT7zx
