Student: *Says name*
Teacher: “It’s hard for me to say that. How about I give you a nickname?”

If no employer gives a standardized test to measure the effectiveness of employees, then why in the world do we think kids need to take a standardized test to show their learning? 🤔
It’s not words that show teachers they’re appreciated. It’s respect, value, giving them a voice/ input, treating them professionally, & giving them the support they need to be successful. Help maximize their talents and strengths. Increasing their value is Appreciation.

•$202,284 with mortgages
•$31,172 with student loans
•$19,231 with auto loans
•$6,194 with credit cards

Representation affects everyone.
@KamalaHarris being the VP matters to young girls and girls of color, but it is also important for white children to see a woman of color in that office. It will make a difference.
