Pleased to share this study by Nabil Sweis et al. in @AJPRenal where we report for the first time a comparison of Tolvaptan vs hypertonic saline to increase plasma sodium in normal volunteers. Obviously, it is better to eliminate water excess than give sodium in the correction of hyponatremia provided that water intake is regulated.
