i was honestly really disappointed by this because i find the idea of a fully animated/fleshed out show with the basis of those cringey old wolf series to be so cool, it’d be like seeing what every teen imagines in their head becoming a reality. but it was just a joke instead

Trust me i’m a huge fan of parody but it works best when it plays itself straight and effort is put into it! I think low effort ms paint stuff has just been done so much it just made me feel disappointed. I couldve just watched sss WC instead of something purposefully low effort

I just think it’s missed potential, i thought the teaser looked really interesting and unique. imagine if it started off mimicking these classic tropes then subverted itself in some way, making something new and exciting instead of a recycled joke. Wouldve been great

I think this is a very clear example of video game music having a genre or at least a regional style. This type of arpeggiated synth is very distinct to European games and popular in demoscene and old hacker/cracker groups.
