Our Acid Grassland is disappearing - tread carefully! Excellent blog from our Conservation Manager about this nationally scarce, fragile habitat and wear & tear in the time of Covid. @swlen@LBRUT@RichmondTCV@WWTLondon@theroyalparks@TiCLme https://t.co/rodEvmS01Z
Please get in touch for some virtual help with the Lockdown puppies, who need some extra effort on socialisation. And may turn out particularly fabbo due to not having people & dogs rush up to them ๐
@lucullus@london_cycling This could be taken up as a campaign when the crisis is over- improving secure facilities for staff at hospitals. Have noticed how woeful they look at my local hospital.
@sarahgate10 @bish1964@theroyalparks Your experience of Richmond Park is very different to mine. For 6 years, Iโve walked there most days & some years had the professional dog walkers licence at a cost of ยฃ500pa to get as much space away from people as poss.
@sarahgate10 @bish1964@theroyalparks These were my words โMuch easier to have many metres of space between me and my dogs than anywhere else I can choose to walk within reasonable distance.โ No problem that you canโt think of an advantage to pavement walking; neither can I.
@sarahgate10 @bish1964@theroyalparks My question was who benefits by me walking on pavements rather than a park, that I know gives me no problems with at least 2m space? What would be a good reason to do that?
@bish1964@theroyalparks Iโm really glad the Richmond Park is open. Much easier to have many metres of space between me and my dogs than anywhere else I can choose to walk within reasonable distance.
