Ward full of very poorly frail elderly folks with Flu A and Covid. We are failing our most vulnerable. I remain the lone masker on the ward. Please protect your loved ones this Xmas and wear a flipping mask. It’s not difficult. Jesus Wept.

@cathy_finnis @wesstreeting I’m immune comp NHS staff. The Covid warning marker turns amber (meaning old) after 3 DAYS in my trust. There is a chap D4 Covid just in a bay with 5 other people. And me. I’m supposed to just share the air while I work. How do I keep myself and my patients safe @wesstreeting ?

@1goodtern Caring for elderly patients who all have a mysterious illness. No masks, no testing- of course. Patch them up and send them back to the care homes to spread it further to their mates. No masks for staff so they can take it home to their families. And on it goes. I am so tired.

@Friesein Yep NHS is currently only issuing vaccines only to “promiscuous” people and close contacts via STI and GUM clinics 🤦🏻‍♀️
OR we could start vaccinating front line staff and the most vulnerable. Imagine this ripping through a care home because care workers forced to work while sick?!
