The Jewish daily prayer contains a section calling for both the destruction of Christians and the destruction of the West.

This is known as Birkat haMinim.

Jews traditionally hid information about Birkat haMinim from Christian Europeans to avoid backlash.

The text of Birkat haMinim reads:

For the apostates (meshumaddim) let there be no hope, and uproot the kingdom of arrogance (malkhut zadon), speedily and in our days.

May the Nazarenes (ha-naẓarim/noṣrim/notzrim and the sectarians (minim) perish as in a moment.

Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written together with the righteous. You are praised, O Lord, who subdues the arrogant.

In the text, "Nazarenes" is a reference to Christians.

Meanwhile, the "kingdom of arrogance" is a reference to Rome and Europeans.

Rome and Europeans are also referred to as the people of Edom (descendants of Esau).

Jews use terms like Edom and Esau to refer to Europeans to help hide their teachings from Westerners.

After all, if Westerners knew that every day Jews pray for the destruction of Christians and Europeans, they would be less likely to see Jews as their allies, and less likely to understand the West as a "Judeo-Christian" civilization.

This is Sheikh Farouk Ramadan.

Yesterday afternoon, he and his family were attacked by settler-terrorists on their own land. Farouk managed to disarm one of the attackers. He took the settler's rifle and shot and killed two terrorists in a clear act of self-defence.
