@NicolaCJeffery I care!
I've suffered from ME for 40 years. No one has ever tweeted about me, or my problems. No one has cared about me, thus far.
Yet, I care about others.
I'm willing to help.
But, you haven't explained how.
Is it by hysterically tweeting?
Instead of actually doing something?
@Really_Richelle@tessfalor Inbox zero is a myth. That went extinct in 2003. The only people claiming otherwise are on the History channel or Science channel.
@IsabelRamirezRD Profit-driven system = not approving necessary Tx and Rx = illness lingers/worsens = patient lives/careers/reputations ruined in order to maximize corporate profits and justify executive salaries.
Probably would be similar in non-profit, TBH. 🤷🏼♂️ Minimize cost -> justify salary.
Revisiting this in depth metabolomics paper on ME/CFS.
Of the 6 such studies “common threads in the results from all these studies are decreased levels of phospholipids and metabolic dysregulation”

@tweetingmole Family members can be the worst because they feel comfortable being blunt with their frustration.
So, I double down with my apologies.
"I'm so sorry that I can't follow your questions. It's frustrating and embarrassing, but I'm suffering really bad brain fog today."
Easy!
@tweetingmole If I am dealing with someone for the first time (or customer service situations), I first tell them that I have a brain injury and need for them to speak slowly. I often ask them to repeat or explain things in a different way. It's easy and requires little explanation.
@BayouMystere Mine began 41 years ago, without an obvious trigger. It waxed and waned, but ratcheted worse over time and/or due to other illness/injury/emotional stressors. Covid was the final straw that I've never bounced back from. Mostly bedbound now.
@sunsopeningband You're one of the people getting rich off of the suffering of others, right?So... get off Twitter and go to work. Try to help someone. Earn your pay.
Your tweets aren't helping anyone.
In fact, they just make everything worse.
@ChrisAlvino@MEHtheNurseTwin@TheNicotineTest Do you really think that your 3.5 days of mixed results warrants a 17-post infomercial in support of nicotine? There are so many other factors that could explain upticks and downticks in your brain fog. I experience a similar amount of variation in a single day without nicotine.
@MeghanEMurphy Most of us realize that other people have their own problems; we stoically suffer because most of life is suffering, and bitching about it isn't going to solve it and bitching about it constantly would make us insufferable to our healthy male friends.
