MY PERSONAL STORY OF HOW WE SURVIVED THE LEBANESE CIVIL WAR
For seven years, I lived in an 8x10 bomb shelter. No electricity. No water. Starvation rations. That's where my childhood went. Stolen by darkness while I was supposed to be growing up.
Muslims became the majority. Checkpoints appeared. Christians disappeared. Palestinian militias and the PLO flooded Lebanon.
My home was bombed and I was buried under the rubble, marked an infidel and left for dead. After 2.5 months in a hospital where they knew I was wanted dead, there was nowhere to go but underground.
Seven years. Concrete walls. Complete darkness. The constant sound of bombs above us. I didn't know if we'd survive the next day.
This is what religious persecution looks like. This is what happens when a majority decides a minority is less than human.
My entire childhood was stolen. But I survived. And I'm still here to tell you what it costs when faith becomes a death sentence.
It doesn’t matter what Shilo Hendrix said.
The fact that she was charged and “found guilty” in court for using non-threatening words should concern every American.
This is an attack on free speech. Look at Europe to see how that’s working out.
Did you know not 1 rioter that burned down Minnesota for weeks during the BLM riots was sentenced for disorderly conduct?
If arrested their charges were dropped.
But…
Shiloh Hendrix was sentenced.
Insane.
If the N word is now a punishable word with a prison sentence, make it illegal to use it in Music.
Fine every record label millions of dollars for using it.
For those that don't know...
The man that Shiloh was convicted of being "disorderly" against was himself charged for r*ping a 16 year-old-girl WITH ANOTHER MAN and TRAPPING HER IN A TRAILER, dehydrated and without food.
The charges were dropped, "in the interest of justice..."
THREAD: The judge who sentenced Shiloh Hendrix to a 90-day stayed jail sentence, 200 hours of community service, probation, and a $1000 fine for using the n-word has a history of giving sex offenders no jail time.
🚨Under Obama, Iran seized 10 American sailors on January 12, 2016, forced them to their knees, and broadcast the humiliation worldwide.
The next day, after their release, Secretary of State John Kerry publicly thanked Iranian authorities for their “cooperation and quick response,” framing the episode as a success of diplomacy.
Five days later, $400 million in cash pallets arrived in Tehran as the first installment of a $1.7 billion payout, timed with the JCPOA nuclear deal and the release of other American prisoners.
Obama responded to the capture of U.S. service members with gratitude and cash. Iran received the propaganda victory, the money, and a clear signal that there would be no real consequences.
Contrast those actions with that of President Trump, who designates the IRGC a terrorist organization, targets its leadership, and refuses to reward aggression with payments or praise
The Shiloh Hendrix case isn't even a close call or a grey area. She was charged and convicted of a crime for saying a word. If that's not a violation of the First Amendment, nothing is. This is one of the most straight forward free speech issues we've seen in a long time.
