There's just over 24 hours left to the Elementals Unleashed #Kickstarter. I've honestly been amazed by the support - from people all over the World - to help fund the printing of this game. https://t.co/kgZ4aoia3j
Because we've achieved over 500% of our original goal we're able to provide at least 100 copies as cheaper copies for schools. So #teachers, #chemtwitter, #homeschool and anyone working for an Educational Institution - get in touch!
@ChemistryReacts An artist did this to a whole bedsit flat, really quite astonishing. https://t.co/gYBcbLGi4g think it should still be at the Yorkshire sculpture park, definitely worth a look if you're in the area
And the kickstarter is live!
Just got it up before the end of #iypt2019! If you like science, or fun, easy to learn card games, then we'd love your support!

Happy Halloween everyone! Here's a chemistry joke written by my bro:
Which are the spookiest elements?
The Noble gases!
Why?
Because you see them one minute but when you turn around again they Argon!
Featuring Black Cat Carbon, Pumpkine Bromine, FrankenNickel and Arhhhhhhhgon!
@ThingsGetDicey Fantastic video! Those are some pipes! Is there anything Paula can't do? (apart from resisting the next big kickstarter?) And of course happy birthday ๐!
John B. Goodenough was my answer to 'Chemist deserving of a Nobel Prize', and is the oldest recipient yet, hence this little tribute to him featuring Elemental Lithium. And he's still working to this day - that's what you call passion!
It's been a while since my last tweet - hello again!
This month the Nobel Prize in Chemistry was announced, going to Goodenough, Whittingham and Yoshino. The impact of their work on the lithium ion battery can be seen in the palm of your hand!

@all_isee@ChemistryWorld Would be happy to talk about it if you're interested! Ran a wee project last month to see if it would work for science outreach and had really positive feedback, so definitely something I'm interested in persuing. Thanks for the tag @squeakyhaggis ๐
@all_isee@ChemistryWorld Yes, I've made a card game - not too heavy on chemical concepts so it makes it quite accessible and turns the chemical elements into little characters (appearance and skills based off physical and chem properties) - its not published yet but planning on kickstarter
What do you do when the printer gives you an excessive amount of spare hydrogen cards for no apparent reason - make them into impromptu business cards!

Big thank you to @umami_j_cake for taking these pictures, but most importantly prompting the use of EU for outreach, suggesting the SEG funding, and of course helping to run this project. I definitely couldn't have done it without her help!
Today's the final event of our short @StudentExpGrant project. I'm not there in person at STEM Academy, but UG ambassadors, Leo and Christian, are doing a fantastic job introducing Elementals Unleashed to Primary School teachers, and showing how it could be used in the classroom!
