This has been one of my fave MHA openings since it first came out, but w/ the new one-shot, it hits a bit different & I think I love it even more. Now I imagine it from Bk’s POV since he’s got his fire back w/ Dk returning to hero work. #mha #bkdk #dkbk

This is how maga succeeds where dems fail. Ppl who argue “both sides” here do so by default but it’s BS. Dems fail bc they DO NOT fall in line like maga. They fail bc ideology is a spectrum & they can’t even agree amongst themselves how best to achieve shared, progressive goals.

This will piss some people off but...

In my opinion the psychological damage caused by the kind of blind faith promoted by religion is why Trump's lies so easily spread. It conditions people to accept authority without question. When individuals are taught from an early age to believe in something without proof, to surrender critical thinking in favor of “divine truth,” they become more susceptible to manipulation.

Trump has exploited this mindset, demanding unwavering loyalty while flooding the public with lies. His supporters don’t require evidence; they’ve been conditioned to reject it. The same mechanisms that demand faith in religious dogma now demand faith in political falsehoods, creating a world where truth is secondary to belief, and where reality itself is dictated NOT by facts, but by the proclamations of a self-styled savior.

Blind faith, whether in a religious figure or a political demagogue, is corrosive to democracy and to the human mind.

@ask_aubry Shatner flirting.

[Urtle 43 (Brandy Horne) @elemental_pea]

@TerryDeangelo3 @TheCinesthetic The post says they’re on the set of Dune. He’s in a Dune costume. They said he’s parodying a Dylan song & the lyrics match the setting & storyline of Dune. Also, if this is 2019, it’s not long after he was cast as Dylan, so if he’s not quite hitting the style, that’s probably why

[Urtle 43 (Brandy Horne) @elemental_pea]

@TerryDeangelo3 @TheCinesthetic They were filming Dune, and the lyrics are adapted to that storyline. He’s not just getting them wrong.

@ask_aubry “Needs to understand the situation they’re in…” Could the situation be that he has a bad heart and that sex could be dangerous for him?

[Urtle 43 (Brandy Horne) @elemental_pea]

@HotPotatoPotat I missed the order deadline, and now I’m 😭. If you do another printing, I’ll be sure to get it next time. I love them so much.

“I just want you for my own more than you will ever know. Make my wish come true. All I want for Christmas is you.”

And historians will say they were “just good friends.”

Right. 🙄

Even Obama is a Timmy fan.

Here are a few movies I’d recommend checking out this year.

[Urtle 43 (Brandy Horne) @elemental_pea]

@TMBWILY @PotatoSoup13 Also, during Class A v Deku, when he catches Iida & Deku falling from the sky, he mentions the slime villain incident & says “that was you, right?” He’d seen the coverage of it. I don’t know that he & Bk ever talked about it. I think him seeing it was part of his backstory.

[Urtle 43 (Brandy Horne) @elemental_pea]

@cmfrtcrwd I don’t remember whose tweet it was, but I saw this pointed out the other day. Hori and Bones really go hard on all the heart imagery.

[Urtle 43 (Brandy Horne) @elemental_pea]

@Alskasizku Delete, delete, delete

[Urtle 43 (Brandy Horne) @elemental_pea]

@_v1no0 @SapTwilight This is amazing 🤩

[Urtle 43 (Brandy Horne) @elemental_pea]

@arthurianmaiden Bakugou is the best female character in all of Shonen. Too bad Hori made them a boy.

[Urtle 43 (Brandy Horne) @elemental_pea]

@SapTwilight I’m also a big fan of BkDk shipper Todoroki and/or third wheel Todoroki. I honestly love him being all “these are my besties.” He’s so damn cute it’s hard to deal. He’s such a fun character to me.
