@GideonHideon @jondelarroz For Atlantis, you need to get past the first season, which was pretty rough at times. After Ronon Dex (Jason Momoa) came on board, the show really picked up, the writing was better and more focused, and the show seemed to gel much better.

@AndrewMease @andycte @BallerToy1327 I'm not a fan of ST: the original series, Voyager, or Enterprise-just Next Generation and Deep Space 9. Those two have some amazing episodes and characters.

But SG-1 and Atlantis will always be my fav.

@andycte @BallerToy1327 Stargate: SG-1 is my favorite space/sci-fi series. I love Star Trek, especially TNG (and the Q episodes) and DS9, but for me, Stargate is the best.

John De Lancie doesn't have a huge role in Stargate, though, fyi.

-btw, @MichaelShanks Dr. Jackson grew to be my favorite character in all the SG franchises (beating out Teal'c who initially was my fav). You also had a good two-episode role in Burn Notice, IMO.

@firepats12 @DavidZorkocy @martingero @BaronDestructo And to make it worse they cancelled Atlantis (on a cliffhanger as the Wraith were about to attack Earth) to make SGU, only to cancel that one after 2 seasons since it didn't hit the same mark-I'd hoped they would have at least done a movie to conclude the plot threads in Atlantis

As an adult I tried again with SG1 and loved it. The first few season are kinda raw, but I recommend you give it another shot Then Atlantis, which also takes a season to get going
