One of the reasons people don't recognize ADHD as a disability is that they see ADHD struggles (with things like organisation, tidyness, timeliness, communication etc) as personal failings. That is ableism.
@Gilariwrites This makes me feel better honestly. I've been feeling really weird about my age and writing fanfic in a younger fandom, yet the most creative I've ever been, but I'm also neurodivergent.
@Dark0277@KarmaKlubPSX I mean have you actually read the posts from people who’ve been doxxed? It’s not celebrating a death 🤷♀️but we shouldn’t be forced to mourn someone whose purpose was to hate and wish harm on others 🤷♀️ I don’t care either way.
@JohnnyT3ars@SarahIronside6 I would not expect to never get a raise while being required to up my skills yearly. That said, my job pays average $67 an hour but half of that is from tips. Most of my colleagues don’t even have health insurance and can barely afford rent.
@JohnnyT3ars@SarahIronside6 So it’s not the fault of employers who don’t give a raise in 10 years, while doubling their prices? Who make sure to never give more than 30 hours a week, to avoid giving benefits? Yet expect full availability?
@MichaelFre94186@allenanalysis Why are they in a prison though? Children, toddlers! People who have their own homes and jobs… people who’ve lived here for decades and are as American as anyone born here.
